HI,this is paresh as i write down my first blog i know there would be a lot of mistakes and i would like it if you could point out mistakes or error if any
The story goes down....It was month of January and i was irresistible as i didn't have a ride for a long time and was just waiting for one chance to disappear from the city but as i had to handle my dads office it seemed a way difficult..but as they say,
"KOSHISH KARNE WALO KI HAAR NAHI HOTI" (people who strive get what they want ;) ).
It was the last week of January and also i had completed one year of my Shaadi urf barbadi :P. I took up the opportunity and told my parents that i wanted to go out on a holiday, and they readily agreed, but they didn't know what wicked mind of mine was planning. My parents were keen on knowing the location where i would be heading,so in order to avoid my parents question i said will be roaming around Maharashtra.I always wanted to ride to the great white raan of kutch and also the deserts of rajasthan.
Finally i decided to visit raan of kutch but hardly anyone in my family knew where will i be heading to....The day arrived and after a bit of planning and stuff and getting the much needed Saddle bag from my friend Rahool YK, i was all set..
This was the night which every rider couldnt sleep,so couldnt i, i just had one headache with me which was how would my wife react when she would come to know on the location and that she hadn't traveled was a bit of concern for me,but then i said to myself, "CHOD GAYA SAB BHAD MEIN DEKHA JAYEGA" and then i took a quick nap which is a much required thing.IT was 3am and my eyes got opened up and i started to check the final preparations.Seeing the Lights on my mom woke up and came to me and asked me "SACH BOL KAHAN JAA RAHA HAIN?", i told mom "MAA KUTCH (GUJARAT) jaunga. My mom just told be one thing "BE SAFE" and i was all determined to ride now,I took her blessings and loaded the bike with saddlebag.
"MAA MAA HOTI HAIN PAKAD HI LETI HAIN MUJHE,YEH HOTA HAIN MAA KA PYAAR".
It was 4.30am and still pitch dark outside. The Sound of the bike revving up instantly charged me up and left from my place and would be meeting up with a friend named Jigar desai who had planned to ride with me uptil vapi where he was going to visit his grandmother,we both meet up at Fountain hotel At ghodbunder road,as the work of the bridge was going on we had to halt at the fountain hotel as only traffic from one way was allowed at one time,This was the first time i meet with this guy and we instantly gelled well and started talking about our bikes and the destination where i was going,by this time the traffic from mumbai side was open and we hopped on our respective bikes to embark our journey.finally we started at 5.30am from fountain hotel and as it was nice lazy morning the fresh and the chilly winds were hitting me and i was loving it.after riding for some 100 odd kms i realized my partner who was sitiing pillion with me is not used for such travel and hence decided to halt at some restraurant on the Arrow straight NH8. Had some refreshments at the restarurant and as jigars destination was near he bid adeu to me and wished me luck.
I started again and at a point of time riding on the straight road started making me feel bored  and we decided to halt at a MCDONALD outlet somewhere near surat. The sun had started to burn my skin as it was shinning bright now.Reached vadodara and as bikes arent allowed on the expressway i had to continue on NH8-A, which was not that wide and as it was almost 1pm there was lot of traffic of huge trucks and trailers

It was already getting hotter and also hunger had started taking the toll on the body, but as had to reach bhuj anyhow by evening was the task for the day as i didnt want to ride in the dark as it was a new place for me,didnt want to take any kind of risk, finally around 3pm decided to have lunch and also give the bike its lunch (petrol) :D
While having lunch kept updating about my location to my family members and finally after having lunch ekdum nawab wala compilled with gujarats speciality chaas, the chass was so buttry and yummy i decided to have one more glass of it which started making me feel lazy :D but had to reach the destination for the day and also i had to keep one more constraint in mind that these being national highways have to reach the destination before sunset which looked a bit dicy. Just curious about which place we were i asked a truck driver about the current location and he said it was Dharangadhra and the driver said that you will take lmost 6 hours more and i was like "LAG GAYE L".
Now without wasting much time we started the journey again.Till now the roads werer very good but once i reached halvad the roads were almost like mumbais road filled with potholes and grazing cows buffaloes and what not on the road forced me to lower my speed to 2 digits.Slowly and steadily as the evening progreesed the cold winds, the pleasent climate and the good open roads and the green outfield were the only thing that was encouraging me to reach the destination. After riding for an hour or so we reached a smll town called khirai an as the roads passed through inside the tiny town there were eyeballs grabbed to me as if i am an alien out of some other planet, took anither halt keeping in mind that someone else is also travelling with me who is not used to such torture :P :D and some tea, asked the chai wala about the disance and he promptly replied "Aaje nahi thase tamare ti.aaji 300km che"(you wont be able to do it today as it was more 300kms)As it was almost 5.45 pm i dedide to rip my bike like crazy as once i gets dark then it would be difficult to ride due to the torture of the truck drivers headlights..after zooping through the buttery roads i found a board which says bhuj was 230 kms more and i did heave a sigh of relief but still the work was yet to be completed. Finally after some quick riding it had started to get dark and somehow by 7.30pm  we reached bhachau. Though the distance from bhachau to bhuj was merely 82kms i felt this was the longest distance to cover, crossed bhachau and was riding on the bhachau-- highway which was worse than dharavi roads,or you can say no roads at all just holes holes and a few assholes trying to race away in the cars, finally after struggling on this road for a few kms a nice neat piece of tarmac started with neatly placed radiums on the sides which did make me feel good, but you never know when what happens?.Something strange started happening i was riding at an average speed of 75km/hr and what i see in my rear view mirror is a Force ka lamba wala jeep with full LED lights on doors and headlight following me closely, seeing it so close to me i decide to spped up a bit and what shocked me was the car guy also started speeding up and tried to overtake me and at a point of time the guy in the car started asking me to stop my bike and said that he was a cop but seeing the condition of the car i didnt stop and again i speeded up and again the guy tried to stop me,this was the thing that i had always heared about that people being looted. This very Moment i decided to pull the throttle like never before,my bike was in 130s now,as there was no other vehicular mont i diidnt stop anywhere until i saw an royal enfield guy with an MH number plate riding solo,he was riding at around 80km/hr i took the bike near him and said about the car and he said "let's Ride together".After a few minuted the car appeared and again started to stop both of us and this time the bullet guy was shocked we both accelerated until we reached the outskirts of bhuj and stopped bear a bus stop where few people were wiaiting for some or the other mode of transport to reach their destinataion. You wont believe the car didnt stop and those guys in the car took a U-TURN. This was the very reason i didnt wanted to ride during the night, anyways lesson learnt.
Finally we entereed bhuj and we waited at a chai stall to have some discussion and the drama which happened with us,The bullet guy was a friendly person ,we exchanged few talks about the drama and as he was also from MH we chatted about the places which must be visited and so on,Well his name was Shyam,a nice friendly guy,as his cousin was staying in bhuj itself he didnt had to hunt a hotel, but he did help me hunt a few good places (this is what biking is all about) and as his cousin was waiting for him he moved with him and i left for my hotel and we decided to meet up again in the morning so that we could go to kutch together.
Reached the hotel and nither me nor my partner were in a condition to go out and eat somrthing,we were so tired and our bums were in deep pain as a result of sitting on the seat for nearly 15 hours. This was end to Day1 of just riding and a bit of drama.
DAY 2.
Woke up to sound of the some tiny sparrows and the tiredness of yesterday was not allowing me to get up but "aaj toh maaza aane wala hain" as we will be going to the white raan, got freshned up by 10 and as we had a quick and heavy breakfast as we didnt eat anything on the previous night.once we were done with our breakfast got the bikes tank full and ready to go to the raan.
never in my life did i expect that i will pass from here :P

also during this very period ther was the kutch festival going on and there are lot of cultural programs are held during this time and also it is said that the best time to see the white raan is during the full moon night during which the white raan shines under the fully lit moon.
On the way to the raan there was a police chowkie where u need to get permission for visiting the white desert/raan but as i so excited i forgot to see that particular police post and directly went to the raan where i was stopped by the army personnal asking about the permission letter which i promptly said nahi hai,he said u need to go back 30kms and get the permission and then come back, i was like "HEY MAA,MATAJI!!!!!" .Went back all the way and got the permission where you just need to show your identity proof and pay a nominal fee for yourself and the vehicle too..the total fee which costed me was rs 60 per person and rs 100 for the bike which takes the total to rs 2203

The raan is a very scenic place a place where you could just sit all day long and relax, white raan is very vast,a few pictures are as follows.

after some good couple of hours spent at the raan decided to visit the kala dongar and a temple at the top though cant remember the name :) but before that hunger god had strucked me and i was craving fro some good gujarati food with chaas and gladly after leaving from raan found a roadside dhaba where i quenched my hunger.
once done with lunch i sat on the bike with full of laziness and chass the culprit again :D started riding slowly but effectively the road to kala dongar was the best road this was the first time in the two days i got to handle some curves on the road and the road was way too scenic and mind you magnetic hill is not only in ladakh its also in gujaarat :P
7.
this was the temple at kala dongar

once done visiting the temple decided to headback to bhuj and spend the evening by roaming around in the local market in the city of bhuj, this was a much far better day than what was yesterday,,,day full of fun nice views a bit of curves and while returning back to bhuj i witnessed the best formation in which our army drives, the best disciplined format ever.
9
finally reached back at the hotel at around 7pm,got freshned up,visited the local market and a quick dinner after which i bumped back into the hotel room as the temperature out was very cold.
DAY 3.
Well got up at 7am as just wanted to walk a few kms,the air was just so pure. The best part of a small town like bhuj is people tend to start work late and wind it up by 8pm.i wanted to have a few more days of freedom than to go back to the city and start working so i decided instantly to go to my native place in rajasthan.Started a bit late at around 11am and slowly and steadily. This day was just he repeat of day1 but no drama here and reached well before sunset as the distance was just roughly around 470odd kms.
I didn't wanted to ride again on the arrow straight roads so decided to take the following route bhuj-bhachau-radhampur-deesa-bhinmal-jalor.
As this was my native place i had a lot of relatives of  mine to meet up so decided to stay over here for a couple of days and give some much needed rest to the bike and the body too.I was enjoying my stay in my place one lazy afternoon i got a text message from a friend who was visiting jodhpur to attend a friends weeding and as he had a couple of days with him to spar we decided to roam aroud in rajasthan.
after three days i left for jodhpur leaving my partner at her place and now i was free :P "boletoh ab kisika tension nahi :P .
Started early at around 6.30am for jodhpur whic was 100 kms from my place and as the chilly winds were hitting me hard i was riding at an average speed of 65km/hr.it was 7.30am i reached a place called ROHIT where there is a famous eatery for kanda kachori, decided to have a couple as i thought my friend achal would be late but who knew he was already waiting for me since 6 am in the morning.i came to know this when i reached jodhpur at around 9am.
As he had a couple of days we decided to go to jaisalmer, left around at 10 am for the destination and were trying hard to escape from this city traffic. once we got out of the city the road was good only on patches and after a few kilometres the road was just ok. After riding for a couple o hours we reached a place called pokhran where the army does it missiles test and other stuff, we had our lunch at a roadside dhaba and finally at 2 pm we left from pokhran.
Finally after some time we we entered jaisalmer and started visiting all the tourist attraction, jaialmer in pics

The best part of this fort was you can go on the top of the fort with your bike ,P.S. only bike as the lanes in the fort are narrow car people have to walk all the way....
after roaming around in jaiselmer it was time for us to hunt for a place to stay,we managed to hunt a few places,we entered a nice place for he was charging 1000 for the place but i being from rajasthan itself got it down to 600 and after putting our luggage in the room freshned up and got down fro an stroll, the place was full of firangs and achal was hopeful of bumping into one,but bad luck :D .Visited a restraurant had some nice spicy rajasthani food  and decided to walk back to the jotel.it was an indeed a nic day.
next day morning neither me nor Achal had plans to wake up on time u kept sleeping lke lazy asses until the hotel guy came up at 11am to wake up asking us to check out, :D we packed up our stuff and were ready to head back to jodhpur
finally we were back to jodhpur by eveing and as i didnt want to travel in the night decided to stay up in jodhpur,Now back in mumbai my parents came to know that i was roaming all alone keeping their so called bahu at home :D . Now as i wanted to rush back to mumbai decided to sleep early so that i could wake up on time and start my journry back for mumbai.
this was the first time i slept on time but idnt woke up on time :D and finally after chai nashta i left from jodhpur at around 10.30am,.i again had to take a halt at my village as i had to take back some stuf from my house to mumbai and to keep my dad happy i decided to take some sweets back home to mumbai. it was almost 2pm now i decided to start jaha andhera hoga ruk jaunga.I crossed Sirohi and all of a sudden it started to turn dark, hence decided to stay at the very next place i get, then there was a sign board which stated Mt. Abu as 75 kmsi decided to stay overnight at mount abu
clouds turning dark

Mount abu is one awesome place to be during winters, glad not lot of foreign visitors go here hence the prices are within check and hence affordable i found a nice place for the night for just 300bucks.This was one good place to relax.
The roads which goes up to the hill station is one crazy road,it is full of curves and one needs to be cautious to handle these curves as one mistake and its game over. Also there are lot of monkeys jumping from one side of the road to the other so next time you go please be carefull
Also while going up to the mount au i meet a fellow biker from NAKED WOLVES Delhi named robin who was happy to see a fellow nsaian riding all the way from mumbai
The next morning i woke up to the calls of my mobile phone where my mom was yelling m to come back home now,and it was 9 am i quickly wrapped up and was ready to move as i was ascending down th hill i thought "YAAR PATA NAHI AB WAPAS KAB RIDE KARNE MILEGA". I decided to go to Ambaji temple and take the blessing of the lord for protecting me all he way and also keep protecting me in the future to come.
This ride was one on the best ride i have ever done
